I too am a grieving mother, I lost my son the 6 of aug this year and they have not arrested the ones that took his life, I to am disappointed in the justice system. I will say a prayer for your family. God bless all of you.

Ed, the day I found out what happened I was at school in concert choir, I had seen you at hastings a couple weeks before but didnt say anything I'm regretting it greatly now. Kannon and I were walking down the hall I was confused, seeing all of the pickett kids coming out of their class rooms heading to the library, everything hit me so hard once everyone was in their chairs, I couldnt believe my ears...."Ed died last night." it kept echoing in my head, I thought it was a very very sick joke. I was one of the first to start crying, we made shirts for you....I still have mine. I could have swore you saw them I felt you there at the funeral, you didnt want us to be sad I know you didnt. I still think about you everyday what it would be like at central, everyone has changed so much! I know you would have still been that goofy kid i knew back in elementary school!! Please watch over us all keep us safe. We still think about you and the good times we had all of us do. I love you and you will always be in my thoughts
